In traditional Asian theater, men often take on female roles. Meanwhile, in conservative Asian cultures, many young individuals question their gender identity for various reasons. Even if they're not queer or homosexual and prefer not to be labeled, they seek to embody feminine delicacy alongside masculine traits. Drawing inspiration from Asian Peking Opera, they blend Western influences such as corsets to unite masculinity and femininity. Wearing soft organza tops that subtly reveal masculine muscular lines, mirrors the harmony of yin and yang in Tai Chi, embracing both strength and softness, liberated from societal norms.
